Gosh, I used to hear that all the time when I was trying to heal.
And honestly? It made me feel worse.
Because no one tells you that slowing down can feel scary
when your body still thinks it’s not safe.
I wasn’t always “go go go&rd

Yesterday, on my way to Lisbon, I kept noticing how loud life is.
